Each story offers valuable takeaways—making this more than just an inspiring read, but a practical source of motivation and learning.
At its heart, The Little Book of Amazing Business Stories is about belief—the belief that you can build something meaningful, even if you don’t feel like a “typical” entrepreneur.
Because the people in this book didn’t start with all the answers…
They simply started.
Sue Wybrow moved to Hertfordshire in her 20s. With no desire to run her own business it “accidentally” happened. Having worked in banking, market research, advertising with the likes of Saatchi & Saatchi, working for Warner Bros. in the era of Friends and ER and then moving into marketing for 14 years, it was when she married the love of her life and had two sons that she decided that her “hobby”, Popdance, was something that could be a fantastic business.
Running a business can be a lonely place, however, through networking and friends, Sue found that there were many people in the same boat – so St Albans Businesses was created – a collaboration of business owners in St Albans, Hertfordshire working together to support and help each other for business success.
