Sue Wybrow was born in North London and knew nothing about dance except a couple of disco dancing classes she went to as a child. Her career spanned from banking, market research, advertising – working with agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, then with Warner Bros in the era of Friends and ER, to 14 years as a Director at a Marketing Agency. It was after she married the love of her life and had two sons that she wanted to go to dance classes and learn dance routines to pop music such as Kylie, MJ and Wham.
So, working with amazing dance teachers, Popdance was born and Sue and her team work with dance teachers across the globe to help them to run successful and profitable classes, parties and events.
Running a business can be a lonely place, however, through networking and friends, Sue found that there were many people in the same boat – so St Albans Businesses was created – a collaboration of business owners in St Albans, Hertfordshire working together to support and help each other for business success.
