Shipping – to the rest of the World from the UK
When ordering an item from The Endless Bookcase outside of Europe there are two options available:
ECONOMY (e)
The cheaper option of the two. Economy franked mail shown as an “(e)” on the shipping payment options is the slower delivery. If you are in no rush to receive the book this is the better option for you price-wise.
The Royal Mail assume delivery dates for economy parcels to the rest of the world can take anything from 2 – 12 weeks.
STANDARD (s)
The more expensive option of the two. Standard franked mail shown as an “(s)” on the shipping payment options is the faster of the two delivery types which is why it is more expensive. If you don’t want to potentially be waiting a while to receive your book this is the better option for you.
The Royal Mail assume delivery dates for standard parcels to the rest of the world can be delivered as quickly as 5 – 7 working days.
DISCLAIMER: The Endless Bookcase takes no responsibility for packages being delivered outside of the Royal Mails stated delivery dates. To find out more information on the Royal Mail delivery dates and rates, please click here.
Deliveries
The most common problem we experience is goods being returned by The Royal Mail because they have been unable to deliver – often because the recipient has not collected the item from the sorting office when notified by card that delivery had not been possible.
Please be on your guard for this.
What to do if you do not receive delivery
Fortunately non-delivery is very rare but late delivery is not that uncommon.
First, check the above details to make sure that you have allowed enough time.
Obviously, there can be further delays in the run up to Christmas.
Once you feel that you have left long enough to allow for late delivery please contact us using the form provided on this page giving as much detail as you can se we can investigate.
