Extremely Informative!
Review date: 20th November 2015

I managed to get a copy of this book via another website and having read it, wanted to purchase a printed copy for my niece, as she works in a small, relatively new business. It's extremely informative and very easy reading. Covers just about every basic aspect of HR in a brief, easy to understand way. It gives you confidence in this side of the business, before you can hopefully grow to such a size where you can actually employ an HR executive!!!

I Especially Enjoyed The Autho
Review date: 25th September 2015

The format of this book is clever, I am able to head directly to the section of the book I need, and find my answer in straightforward English. Some of the topics employers are expected to know, but this book explains what employers should know and how to implement it correctly and fairly. I especially enjoyed the authors examples derived from her own experiences. A great book which should be in every small business holders bookcase.

I found Debbie's book to be a very useful and a great guide to all of those niggling questions and doubts that any new employer has, and it's all written in easily understood english which makes it a joy to read. The case studies are really beneficial and the author's experiences underline her competency. The book now sits in my office desk as a well thumbed reference book, and is an essential tool for companies that have employees or business owners taking the next step to employing someone.
