Ryan Daniels has spent nearly 30 years working across the UK construction industry, building up a wealth of experience in a variety of roles, including tradesman, foreman, site manager, materials buyer and merchant.
During his career, Ryan has experienced first-hand the humour, camaraderie, challenges and occasional chaos that come with life in the building trade. Along the way, he has encountered countless memorable characters and witnessed more than a few situations that were almost too extraordinary – or too funny – to be true.
These experiences provided the inspiration for Measure Twice Cuss Once: The Funny Tales of a Tradesman, an entertaining collection of stories inspired by real events from Ryan’s years in construction.
Through his writing, Ryan offers readers an entertaining glimpse behind the hoardings, celebrating the building-site banter, ingenious problem-solving, unexpected mishaps and larger-than-life personalities that make the construction industry such a distinctive place to work.
