“I grew up in Meopham just outside Gravesend in Kent. I went to Meopham School and then on to Hadlow College. I’ve always had a passion for the written word ever since I can remember.
In 2007 I joined the Princes Trust Team Programme which introduced me to the world of Performing Arts at Walk-Tall Village in Northfleet. From then on my writing became more prolific and I was offered a place on a foundation writing degree course, regretfully I turned this down. It didn’t put me off and I had a book Published in 2010.
Writing had to go on hold when I had my son in 2012, little did I know how much of an impact he would have on my life and family. But absolutely no regrets, I’m now finding time once again to sit and write.”
Their programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. They help develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling young people to move into work, education or training.
