In my experience when you first become a parent there is a lot of literature widely available to guide you through those early years. By the time your child starts school you feel that you have got to grips with parenthood and stop seeking advice. This is the time though when the real challenges start and suddenly you can feel lost and struggle to know how to best support your child's learning. Parent forums are a great place to share your problems but often it is difficult to find the right answers and know what is the right thing to do.

This book is great as it acts as a handy reference guide, providing help and guidance on many of the same issues we all face as parents on a regular basis including how they can lack concentration, motivation and how we can remain patient. New book 100 Things To Learn Before You're 10, aims to provide a roadmap to help parents and their children navigate the obstacles and misunderstandings that often arise during the first ten years of little ones' lives - and to give kids a lot of skills which will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives.
