Robert (aka Bob) Little has pursued a number of parallel careers. Perhaps best known as a writer and business-to-business public relations practitioner, he trained as an opera singer (singing a variety of tenor roles over the years) and has also spent a decade or three as a lay minister within the Baptist denomination.
Robert says: “Life’s too short to only concentrate on one skill set. Usually, we have to focus on the skills we use in our professional lives – yet there are other, sometimes complementary, skills that we can develop which will give us a broader perspective on the things that matter in life.
Whether we want to develop our skills because we want to be paid to demonstrate them or because we want to know more about the world to which these skills can take us, learning and developing these skills will make us more knowledgeable and interesting as people – and provide us with some invaluable experiences.”
